With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul W. McKown (Arlington Heights, Illinois), who passed away on December 3, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Paul may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Paul touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George McKown and Winona McKown. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Moore McKown; and his children, Shannon Busch (Jonathan) of Palatine, Jay McKown (Karen) of University Place, WA and Heather English (Jason) of Arlington Heights.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home (1520 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the The Orchard Arlington Heights (1330 N Douglas Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60004). A committal service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (610 S Dundee Ave, Barrington, IL 60010).
