He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Owens and Mary Owens; his siblings, Marita Komp (late Theodore), Alan Owens (Kathleen) and Kevin Owens; and his sister-in-law Maureen Burke.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his children, Kathleen Sherlock (William) of Chicago, Raymond Owens (Kelly) of Chicago and Brian Owens (Amy) of Hinsdale; and his grandchildren, Brian (Katie), Carly, Claire Owens, Raymond, Emily and Sloane Owens.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Edna Catholic Church (2525 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at the Inurnment Memory Gardens Cemetery (2501 E Euclid Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
In remembrance of Ray and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marmion Academy in Aurora, Illinois (marmion.org).
