With solemn reverence, we commemorate Robert Joseph Maher of Arlington Heights, Illinois, whose life came to an end on September 28, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. and Mary E. Maher; his in-laws, Frank and Doris Pepper; his grandson Martin "Evan" Lindborg; and his siblings-in-law, Ken McGarvey and Sharon Wagner.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Pepper; his children, Kendra Maher, Andrew Maher (Joy) and Martin Maher (Kelly); his grandchildren, Ethan Lindborg, Joshua, Kaitlyn Maher, Paige, Reese Maher, Jenna, Jordan and Jayden Blank; his sisters, Betty McGarvey (late Kenneth), Mary Harris (Bob) and Monica Maher; and his brother-in-law Barry Pepper (Sally).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (820 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
