He was predeceased by : his parents, Eugene Barczak and Jean Barczak; and his cherished Busia. He is survived by : his wife Bonita Barczak; his daughter Kara Byrd (Ethan); and his granddaughters, Adelyn and Emerie Byrd.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, May 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights (302 N Dunton Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
