He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Kukla and Ruth Kukla (Sandel); and his brother Patrick Kukla (Faye). He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Matt Kukla (Mira) of Troy, MI and Dr. Michelle Kukla of Arlington Heights; his grandchildren, Dr. Tyler Kukla of Fairfax, VA and Hannah Kukla (Brad) of Fishersville, VA; and his brother-in-law Patrick Klug (Scott). He is also survived by nieces and a nephew.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home (1520 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St James Catholic Church (831 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
