He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon; his parents, Esther Ben-Rubin and Max Ben-Rubin; and his brother Albert. He is survived by: his children, Susan Ben-Rubin, Marc Ben-Rubin (Jeanette Johnson) and Michelle Kanter (Matt); his grandchildren, Danielle, David and Ness Silverstone; and his siblings, Rosa, Jack, Lillian and Laura.
