We are sad to announce that, on April 10, 2022, at the age of 73, Thomas L. Tom (Arlington Heights, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dew Tom and Sophia Tom. He is survived by: his spouse Meiyu "May"; his children, Therese Au (Alan), Janette VandeWettering (Jason) and Richard Tom (Natalie); his grandchildren, Ashley Au, Collin Au, Aubrey Tom, David VandeWettering and Anna VandeWettering; his siblings, Shirley Hansen, Selena Qui and Judy Tom; his mother-in-law Wai Shan Chan; and his siblings-in-law, Katherlina Chin (Joseph), Grace Peng (David), Tina Fornadley (Bernard) and Eric Chan (Caroline). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
