He is survived by: his children, Mike Airdo (Rita) of Oak Park, Cecilia O'Neill of Villa Park and Nancy Schneider (Dave) of Lisle; his grandsons, David, Larry, Tony, Kevin and Cory; and his great grandchild David Vincent "DJ" Schneider.
