It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wesley Mika of Arlington Heights, Illinois, born in Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 8, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Wesley Mika, and Johanna Mika, Sr.. He is survived by : his wife Susan; his children, Ross Mika (Carolyn), Josh Mika (Rachel) and Judd Mika; his grandchildren, Quinn Mika, Pierson Mika and Brooke Mika; his sister-in-law Christy Carson (Richard); his nephew Nick Carson (Tessa); and his cousins, Mike, Christopher, Tom Buck (Darlene), Marian Murphy (Michael), Karen Friedberg (Richard) and Robert Wojtalewicz.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Arlington Heights (1903 E Euclid Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60004). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
