With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Wolff Forst (Arlington Heights, Illinois), who passed away on January 11, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Dawn Herbert (late Gregory) and Nancy Krause (Thomas); and his sister-in-law Susan Osborn. He is survived by: his wife Alberta Forst; his children, Dorothy Shiakallis (Christos), Donald Forst (Vivian) and Douglas Forst (Toni Ward); his grandchildren, Hanna, Madelyn Shiakallis, Quinn Fang and Konstanze Forst; his siblings, Frederick Forst (late Dianne), Richard Forst (Margaret), Kenneth Forst, Dorothy VanPuyenbroeck, Ralph Forst and Susan Fuller (James); and his siblings-in-law, Dortha Osborn, Almyra Reed (late David) and Reva Mitchell (late Stephen). He is also survived by his Dad, siblings and Grandparents.
In lieu of flowers the family of William asks that a donation be made in his name to the American Legion of Arlington Heights.
