He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Lovgren and Marjean Lovgren (Brown); his wife Bonnie Lovgren; his brother Charles Lovgren; and his sister-in-law Cathy Lovgren.

He is survived by : his children, Matt Lovgren (Robin), Angela Bullington (Shaun), Melanie Engel (Eric) and Laura Shumway (Rich); his grandchildren, Macee (Trevor), Louie, Alex of Alivia, JT, Lily, Owen, Corbin, Astrid and Raya; and his brothers, Dave Lovgren, Doug Lovgren (Gail) and Mike Lovgren (Hazel). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
