He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanuel Mast and Sarah Mast; and his granddaughter Esther Mae Mast. He is survived by: his wife Esther R. Otto; his children, Nelson, Barbara (Yoder), Marlene and John Hochstedler; his grandchildren, Henry, Lovina, Elizabeth, Martha Mast, Marnita, Donavon Kaufmann, Ryan, Rose Hochstedler, Shandra and Pablo Cruz; his siblings, Martha Kauffman (Felty), Rebecca Slabaugh (Eli) and Ezra Mast (Barbara); Melvin and Katie Gingerich. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, special niece.
