He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dorothy Smith and Wayne Morthland. He is survived by: his daughter Darla Walker (Glen) of Texas; his grandchildren, Mattison Ditter and Nic Ditter; and his stepdaughter Tammi Borntreger. He is also survived by four step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home (66 US-36, Atwood, IL 61913). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association.
