She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Schiver and Essie Smith Schiver; her husband Howard Lewis Ramsey; and her siblings, Eugene Schiver and Francis Dickinson.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Ramsey (Beth) of Wagoner, OK and Diana McIlvane (Mark) of Plainfield, IL; her grandchildren, Breandan Ramsey of Sapulpa, OK, Steven Ramsey (Erin) of Mounds, OK and Matthew McIlvane (Megan) of Coal City, IL; her great grandchildren, Jack, Olive Elaine, Huck Lewis Ramsey, Mason and Mila McIlvane; and her brother David Schiver (Bernie) of Martinsville, IL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
