It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Willis of Ashland, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Willis and Katherine Sutherd Willis; and his brothers, Robert and Jack Willis. He is survived by: his cousins, Mary Launer (Jim) of Modesto and Kay Maddox Compardo of Springfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
