Though Michael may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He is survived by: his parents, William "Buddy" Bell and Patsy Bell (Turner); his wife Melissa Bloomfield; his children, Lukas Bell of Virginia, Lacie Moffitt (Ethan) of Ashland and Devin Branstner of Carbondale; his grandchildren, Silas and Vayda Moffitt; and his siblings, Bill Bell (Vickie) of Virginia and Linda Henry (Greg) of Petersburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home (1100 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650).
