Jeannette N. Hood Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeannette N. Hood of Ashmore, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2025 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jeannette N. Hood to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Nugent and Cleta Nugent (Jackson); her husband James Russell Hood; and her son James Ray "Jim" Hood. She is survived by: her children, Connie E. Davis (John) of Charleston, IL, Scott L. Hood (Judy Ward) of Ashmore, IL and Robin R. Hood (Nancy Hogan) of Sidell, IL; and her grandchildren, Amy Evans, Alex Hand, Jamie Drum (De Hill), Jodie Andrys (Tom), Cody Hood (Kaycee) and Betsy Flynn (Doug). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
