She was predeceased by: her parents, Sydney Scribner and Allie Scribner (Curry); her husband Preceding; her son-in-law Chet Metzger; her stepson Dennis Daley; and her great grandchild Benjamin Wempen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicky Metzger of Pana, IL, Paula Wempen (Steve) of Assumption, IL and Karen Sue Fleener of Henderson, TN; and her grandchildren, Lisa Daley, Melvin Adrian, Lindy Maness, Joe Metzger, Brad Metzger, Jesse Adrian and Dylan Wempen. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Disabled American Veterans.
