He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Bucher and Ferne Bucher (Kessler); and his brothers, Willie Bucher, Jim Bucher and Tom Bucher.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Bucher; his children, April Bucher Hoffmeister and Aaron Bucher (Bailey); his grandchildren, Grafton, Avery Hoffmeister, Marshall and Bennett Bucher; and his siblings, Robert Bucher, Alice Clanin and Carolyn Bricker. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Astoria Rescue Squad or the Astoria American Legion Post 25.
