He was predeceased by: his parents, Terrance Adam "Tom" and Nellie Pearl Fairburn (Weaver); his wife Mary Coita Groff; his siblings, Lucille Lingenfelter (Bruce), Leona Boyer (Cecil), Marie Hallam (Ernie), Hubert Fairburn (Bernice), Merle Fairburn (Modelle), Dwayne Fairburn (Esther) and Roland "Breezy" Fairburn; his grandson Blake Westlake; and his daughter Janet Kirby.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Lopes (John) of Mt. Pleasant, MI, Rebecca Westlake (Marvin) of Mt. Carmel, Diane Westlake (Gary) of Bader, Scott Fairburn of Astoria and Julie Troutman (Bill) of Rushville. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
Memorials may be made to the Astoria Fire and Rescue Squad.
