He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Watson and Marjorie Watson (Lynch); his wife Carolyn Rose; his daughters, Janell Kay and Marcella Jean Watson; and his siblings, Jim Watson and Evelyn Moore.

He is survived by: his children, Donnie Watson (Becky) of Table Grove, Todd Watson (Sara) of Browning and Melissa Shaw (Chris) of Astoria; his grandchildren, Brooke Kendrick, Grant Watson (Jessica Ippenson), Dylan Watson (Bhrea), Brian Watson, Preston Watson, Kenley Watson, Jacob Shaw (Emma), Jared Shaw and Jonah Shaw; his great grandchildren, Taegan and Malachi Kendrick; his siblings, Doris Rowe of Lewistown, Karen Boehl of Havana, Kenny Watson (Anita) of Ohio and John Watson of Havana; and his sister-in-law Anne Watson of Havana.
