He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Hammack and Lela Hammack (Hampton); his son Jack Olroyd; and his siblings, Lucille Morris, Larry, Ralph, Donald, Doyle and Dale Hammack.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Fischer (Gerald Dorris) of Southern Illinois, Bonnie Hammack (Danny Wheeler Sr.) of Pleasant View, IL, Douglas Hammack Jr. (Ann) of Vermont, Russell Hammack of Pleasant View and Wayne Hammack of Pleasant View; his grandchildren, Kris Fischer, Shaun Hiland, Justin Hiland (Molly), Brittany Wheeler and Danny Wheeler Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Colt Schisler and Chloe Hiland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
