He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Carlton and Bessie Carlton (Wamsley); his wife Mary Standley; and his daughter Tammy Lynn Moore. He is survived by: his son Chris Carlton (Rosa Fink) of Pekin; his stepchildren, Bill Hawkshaw (Shannon) of Rochester and Amanda Downing (Chris) of Concord; and his grandchildren, Nick Carlton (Natalie), Zachary Carlton (Jaci), Justin Cockrell (Nora), Destiny Carlton, Wesley Cockrell (Carolina), Dillon Cockrell, Anthony Metcalf, Shelby Hawkshaw, Brennan Hawkshaw and Alyssa Downing. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
