With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rebecca Lee Heitz Crossman of Astoria, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her father Cecil Heitz; her sister Kathy Coats; and her grandparents, Roman, Lulu Little, Roy and Vernie Heitz.
She is survived by: her mother Nancy Little Heitz; her children, Jenny Elliott (Tim) of Macomb, Jessica Young of Macomb, Jesse (Sarah) of Lewistown and Andrew (Olliebea) of Astoria; her siblings, Susie Parr (Scotty) of Vermont and Chris Heitz (Kelly) of Vermont; and her close friend Susan "Gram" Young. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
Per the family's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Becky's name to Richard L. Owen Hospice Center in Peoria, or Astoria Fire Department.
