He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward McCombs and Alma McCombs (Trone); his wife Phylis Hamm; his grandson Dirke McCombs; and his siblings, Lawrence Edward McCombs and Erma Easley.
He is survived by: his children, Barb Miller (Wayne) of Astoria, Craig McCombs (Nancy) of Middlebrook and Randy McCombs (Janie) of Browning; and his grandchildren, Jake McCombs, Randy McCombs, Jr. and Kayla McCombs. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Astoria Fire and Rescue Squad.
