He is survived by: his wife Cyndi Gruber; his son Curtis Gruber of Washington, IL; his stepchildren, Michael Yocom of Galveston, TX and Melissa Smith of St. David, IL; his grandchildren, Teagan Gruber of Ladd, IL and Natalie Smith (Ace) of St. David, IL; his siblings, Larry Gruber of Hanna City, IL, Amy Middleton of Louisville, KY and Susie Spackman of St. Charles, IL; and his pets, Garth and Leila. He is also survived by seven nieces and one nephew.
