He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Bart Schmulbach (Tina) and Bree Schmulbach (Greg Bennett); his stepchildren, Melissa Paoni (Mike), Christina Stark and Troy Freeman (Billie); his grandchildren, Kloee (Justin), Ashleigh, Aaron (Amanda), Dustin (Logan), Paige (Seth), Tyler (Kelsi), Jake (Liz), Ariel (Jason), Virginia and Devin; his sisters-in-law, Debby Schmulbach, Cindi Allender and Char McClure (Ed); and his caregiver Tammy Robinson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mott & Henning Funeral Home (206 N Main St, Athens, IL 62613).
