She was predeceased by: her husband Lewis Ray Abeln; her brothers, Edward Earl Beard, Jr. (Butch) and Harold Eugene Beard; and her son Dale Linda Abeln (Dean Abeln). She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Connelly (Ed), Sheree Meyer and Diane Hester (Tom); and her siblings, Joyce McDaniel (late Norm), Marlene Pochynek (Jerry), Elaine Beard, Albert Beard (Dena), Marvin Beard (Susan) and Pete Beard (Cindy). She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Athens Christian Church.
