He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Dwight and Mary Elizabeth Martin (Gay); his wife Wilma Lee Hamilton; and his sisters, Betty Robb and Charlotte Rhoades.

He is survived by : his children, Bradley Martin (Susan), Sherry Williams (Curt), Darla Reed and Mary King (Kyle Sr.); his cousin Lyle Campbell; and his sister Alice Becker (Ronnie). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
