Sharon Mester Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on May 11, 2026, at the age of 81, Sharon Mester of Athens, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marshall Pierceall and Alta "Topsy" Bushong Pierceall; her husband Charles "Butch" Mester, Jr.; her daughters, Angela Hyde (John) and Cynthia Mester; her grandchildren, McKenzie Mester (Daniel Sundberg), Jackson Hyde, Justice Mester, Augustine Hyde and Bosco Hyde; her great grandchildren, Sterling and Charles Jaye Sundberg (CJ); and her sister Linda Weidhuner.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Holy Family Catholic Church, or the Canons of St. John Cantius.
