He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Hamilton and Marie Hamilton; his former wife Rebecca; his wife Becky; his daughters, Sandra Preston (Richard), Susanne Hamilton and Stacy Arnold (Ray); his grandchildren, Quinlin (Emily), Edward (Kayla), Joshua, Evan (Gabrielle) and Sophia; his great grandchildren, Edward and Ella; and his brothers, Phillip and David.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mott & Henning Funeral Home (206 N Main St, Athens, IL 62613). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707).
