She was predeceased by : her parents, Lewis Fischer and Kathryn Fischer (Brennan); her husband Donavon "Don" Sturtewagen of Don's T. V.; her sister Mary Helen Pearson (Art); and her sister-in-law Barb Fischer.

She is survived by : her brother David Fischer; and her great grandchildren, Ryan Sturtewagen, Weston Spivey, Lauren Wall (Luke), Jared Spivey (Cassidy), Nick Ericson (Katie), Erin Kemp (Jason), Adam Sturtewagen (Laura), Sara Mateske (Chad), Barry DeSplinter and Nell McAllister (Reed).

A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Vandemore Funeral Home - Atkinson (214 S State St, Atkinson, IL 61235). Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (204 W Main St, Atkinson, IL 61235).

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in her name to St. Anthony's Catholic Church or Atkinson Fire and Rescue.
