We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Connie Carlson (Atkinson, Illinois), born in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Though Connie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Connie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norma Carlson (Rice) and George Carlson; and her sister Patricia Carlson. She is survived by: her daughter Julie Largent; her son-in-law Dustin; her grandson Cooper; her brother Kenneth Carlson (Kathy); and her sibling's children, Kaylene Carlson and Kasey Carlson (Alicia).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the TBD SonRise Bible Church (201 W 2nd St, Atkinson, IL 61235).
