He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard King and Madeline King (Seys); his wife Peggy King; his children, Kelly Liedtke and Patrick King; his brother James King; and his sister-in-law Lois King.
He is survived by: his daughter Jodi Casteel (Clayton) of Cambridge; his grandchildren, Bethany Alexander, Katie Johnston (John), Amanda Beam (Brandon), Blake Opsal (Michaela), Brittany Casteel (Jarrod), Danita Opsal and Jacob King (Deanna); his great grandchildren, Caylee, Colton, Evelyn, Cara, Briar, Opie, Copper and Magnolia; and his children-in-law, Kurt Liedtke of East Moline and Luan King of Atkinson.
