He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Jagers and Alma Jagers (Dumolyn); his siblings, Leon, Marvin and Maryann Ullrick; and his brother-in-law Jim Ullrick.

He is survived by: his children, Thomas Jagers (Gail) of Princeton, IL, Stephanie Van Herzeele (Michael) of Coralville, IA and Mary Jagers of Annawan, IL; his grandchildren, Erin Zanaty (Mario), Matthew Van Herzeele (Madison), Eric Jagers (Kitty), Alex Jagers and Ryan Jagers; and his great grandchildren, Marc and Nicholas Zanaty.

Memorials may be directed to the family to be used for the beautification of the Annawan Township Cemetery, or to the Annawan-Alba Library.
