He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Gentry and Ruth Gentry (DeWolfe); his wife Ruth Gentry; and his siblings, Connie Gentry Edwards, Freeda Gentry, Jack Gentry, Raymond Gentry and Walter Gentry.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Gentry (Sharon) of Atkinson, Eugene Gentry (Kari) of Geneseo, Kenneth Gentry (Suzi) of Houston, TX, Kay Croegaert (Mike) of Geneseo and Steve Gentry (Ray Forsythe) of Okatie, SC; his grandchildren, Brent Gentry (Chris), Jason Gentry (Andrea), Katie Gasper (John), Drew Croegaert (Addie), Blake Croegaert (Laurie), Emily Gentry, Ethan Gentry, Melissa Darden (John) and Lonnie Smith; and his siblings, Richard Gentry, Roy Gentry, Keith Gentry, James Gentry and Sheryl Gentry Lewsader. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Winfred L. Gentry Memorial Fund, of which the family will distribute amongst several local charities.
