With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Derrell O. Vannoy of Atlanta, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy D. Vannoy and Elverna Jones Vannoy; and his siblings, Irene Leesman, Betty Batterton, Kenneth Vannoy and Carl Vannoy.
He is survived by: his children, Devin Vannoy, Johannes Vannoy (Jessica), Landon Vannoy (Tara), Amy Merreighn and Mary Jo Vannoy; and his brother Jerrell Vannoy. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Atlanta Fire Department, Eminence Christian Church, or an organization of the donor's choice.
