She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Berton and Mary Elizabeth Hanners (Benner); her husband Jack Coy Shipman; her granddaughter Scooter Elizabeth Shipman; and her siblings, Joan Kingery, Loren Hanners, Earl Hanners, David Hanners and Glenn Hanners.
She is survived by: her sons, David Dewayne Traxler (Carol) of Philo, IL, Scottie Coy Shipman (Amy) of Atwood, IL and Bradley Jack Shipman (Christy) of Atwood, IL; and her grandchildren, Melissa, Michael, Alice, Matthew, Toby, Noah Albert, Noah David, Zach, Elizabeth, David, Cameron and Aaron. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the United Church of Atwood, or to the Backpack Program.
