He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph H. Long and Elma M. Long (Davis). He is survived by: his sons, Rick Long (Sonya) of Decatur and Randy Long (Alta) of Tuscola; his grandchildren, Phil Long (Ashley), David Long (Stephanie), Kristen Martin (Scott), Amber Schulz (Matt), Ashley Immke (Corey), Makenna Long and Miranda Long; and his brother Bob Long of Hammond. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home (705 S Main St, Tuscola, IL 61953). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (600 E North Line Rd, Tuscola, IL 61953).
