He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hammel and Rita H. Highton Hammel; and his sister Theresa Martin. He is survived by: his brothers, Barry Hammel (Vicki) of Atwood, Garry Hammel of Atwood and Dale Hammel (Jorena) of Atwood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
