He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert S. Kauffman and Anna J. Kauffman (Yoder); his sister Vi Janzen; and his nephew Jim Hamilton. He is survived by: his wife Jean "Jeannie" Kauffman (Lambert); his children, Heidi Yeakley (Steve) of Atwood, IL and Tracy Kauffman of Sylvania, AL; his grandchildren, Taylor Kauffman of Leesburg, AL, Jordan O'Hara (Tyler) of Mishicot, WI, Colton Yeakley of Atwood, IL and Brody Allen of Leesburg, AL; his sister Karen Pankov (Pete) of Sunrise Beach, MO; and his great grandchildren, Alyson O'Hara and Connor O'Hara. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and wonderful friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arbor Rose (Monticello or Tolono) or LifePointe Church in Mattoon.
