She was predeceased by: her parents, Matt Mihelcic and Mary Mihelcic (Gorsich); her sisters, Margaret Steinhauser and Gloria; her brother-in-law Ron Ruppe; her brothers, William (Marlene Mihelcic), Henry (Darlene Mihelcic) and Donald (Dorothy Mihelcic); and her siblings-in-law, Lois Mihelcic and Dan Rhodes.
She is survived by: her siblings, John Mihelcic of Mt. Olive, IL and Catherine Rhodes of Eagarville, IL; and her children, Edward A. of Divernon, IL, James Burg of Divernon, IL, John Burg (Anne) of Springfield, IL and Mary Elizabeth Smaistrla (George) of Manvel, TX. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bramley Funeral Home (150 Reichert Rd, Divernon, IL 62530). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
