She was predeceased by : her parents, Elmer McCrary and Ellen Wills McCrary; her husband John L. Wertin; her grandson Joshua Howard; and her brother James McCrary.

She is survived by : her children, Ellen Suzanne Warnsing (Mitchell) of Auburn, IL, James Anthony Wertin (Meg) of Litchfield, IL and Matthew Jay Wertin. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, Litchfield, IL or Meals on Wheels.
