He is survived by: his children, Michael Garvin, Jr. (Jennifer) and Michele Garvin; his grandchildren, Megan Spivey (John), Marissa (Aubrey), Mariela and Madilyn; and his siblings, Karen Hirstein (Jerry), Delores Parton and Donald Garvin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
