With solemn reverence, we commemorate Barbara Hamrick of Augusta, Illinois, whose life came to an end on July 18, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell DeJaynes and Dorothy Crossland DeJaynes; her husband Bill Hamrick; her brother Roy; and her sister-in-law Joan DeJaynes.
She is survived by: her sons, Bill Hamrick III (Deborah) of Augusta and Craig Hamrick (Brenda) of Macomb; her granddaughters, Rebecca Hamrick, Emily Smith (Josh) and Tiffany Tanksley (Isaac); her great grandchildren, Kennedy, Henry, Ben Smith, Hadley, Colt and Kaylee Tanksley; and her brother Charles DeJaynes (Leota) of Dallas City, IL. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Faith Baptist Church (1926 State Hwy 94, Camp Point, IL 62320). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church or Woodlawn Cemetery Association.
