He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Hiland and Dorothy Lambert Hiland; and his siblings, Sadie Witt, Ed "Kook" Hiland and Jim Hiland.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mike Hiland and Barb Hiland; his former wife Judith Guthrie Hiland; his children, Greg Hiland and Lynne Gulotta; his spouse Babe Brock Hiland; his grandchildren, McKenna Graham, Megan Post, Kaley Hiland and Tyler Hiland; and his great grandchildren, Luke and Brett Graham.
