With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shawn L. Herrick of Augusta, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 3, 2024 at the age of 55. Though Shawn may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shawn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his parents, Dan Herrick (Kathy) of Canton, IL and Nancy Herrick (Bent) of Canton, IL; his children, Ethan Herrick (Addy O'Brien) of Springfield, IL, Bryce Herrick (Ashlee) of Augusta, IL and Marissa Herrick of Biggsville, IL; his grandchildren, Ayslee Herrick, Bradley Herrick and Eden Herrick; and his sister Angie McCollum of Peoria, IL..
