She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Atherton and Lynda Atherton (Miller); and her pets, Emily and Murphy. She is survived by: her sister Wendy; her brother-in-law Roman Corralejo of DeKalb; her nephews, James and Joseph Corralejo; her great-nephew Elijah Corralejo; her aunt Bonnie Miller of St Louis, Missouri; her stepmother Jerilynn Atherton of Mendota; and her stepsisters, Melinda Lasky (Scott) and Erin Strouss (Jeff). She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
