We announce the death of Angelina C. Garcia (Aurora, Illinois), born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 89. Angelina will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Mike Garcia; her children, Lydia Moore Oleson and Michael Garcia; her great grandchild Dominick Rodriguez; her parents, Guadalupe Ramirez and Librada Ramirez; and her siblings, Marie Moreno, Lupe Lesa, Howard, Jesse, Johnny, Roman, Joseph, Raymond, Richard and Paul.
She is survived by: her children, Debora Garcia-Schramel (Arnie) of Aurora, IL and Michele Smith (Ron) of Sandwich, IL; her grandchildren, Tandra Rodriguez (Ernesto), Rick Torres (Nadia), Jillianne Holcomb (Brent), Brandon Smith, Kristy Moore, Cassandra Garcia and Sydney Smith (Zach); and her sister Mary Ramirez. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
