He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Zillgitt and Paula Zillgitt; his former wife Hope (Zenke); his sister Carol; his brother-in-law Ed Davey; his niece Lisa Joy; his son-in-law Steven Stowers; and his brother-in-law John Burkitt (Tina).
He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Burkitt); his children, Karl (Tonia) of Palatka, FL and Gail Kollias (Stephen) of Zionsville, IN; and his siblings-in-law, Keith Burkitt (Sun) and Sharon Klaisner (Lowell). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
